An appointment is not guaranteed until confirmed by Tires and Lube.

Customers must provide accurate information, including:

  • Service address

  • Vehicle year, make, and model

  • Tire and wheel sizes, when applicable

  • Requested service

We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of significant changes to confirmed appointment times.

4. Mobile Service Requirements

For mobile services, the customer must provide a safe, legal, and reasonably accessible location where work can be performed.

The service location must:

  • Provide adequate space around the vehicle.

  • Have reasonably level and stable ground.

  • Allow safe operation of jacks, lifting equipment, and service machinery.

  • Be legally accessible to our technicians.

  • Be free of dangerous traffic exposure and other foreseeable hazards.

  • Allow the technician to complete the requested service without unreasonable interference.

Tires and Lube may refuse, postpone, or discontinue work if the location is unsafe.

Customers are responsible for obtaining permission to perform vehicle maintenance at apartments, private communities, parking structures, commercial properties, or other restricted locations.

Additional travel charges or rescheduling fees may apply when disclosed and authorized.

5. Pricing, Estimates, and Additional Charges

Service prices depend on vehicle type, tire dimensions, wheel design, service complexity, product selection, travel distance, and other relevant factors.

Prices advertised on our website or social media are subject to change and may not include every vehicle-specific requirement.

Any applicable travel fees, service fees, taxes, disposal charges, specialty equipment charges, or additional labor will be disclosed before the related work is authorized.

If additional work is required after service begins, we will request customer approval before proceeding, except where otherwise permitted by law.

Written quotes remain valid for the period specified in the quote. If no period is specified, pricing and product availability must be reconfirmed before service.

6. Payments

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the authorized service.

Accepted payment methods will be communicated at booking or invoicing.

Customers are responsible for all authorized services, products, applicable taxes, and disclosed fees.

For fleet accounts or customers with approved payment terms, invoices must be paid according to the agreed billing schedule.

Returned payments, disputed charges, and overdue accounts may be subject to lawful collection remedies and any fees expressly agreed upon in advance.

We reserve the right to require deposits or advance payment for special-order tires, customized products, or large fleet appointments.

7. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows

Customers are encouraged to cancel or reschedule appointments as early as possible.

Standard cancellation notice: [Insert cancellation notice period.]

Any cancellation fee, missed-appointment fee, or nonrefundable deposit must be disclosed to and accepted by the customer before the booking is finalized.

If a technician arrives at the confirmed location and cannot perform the service because the vehicle is unavailable, the customer is absent, or the location is inaccessible, a previously disclosed and agreed-upon service call fee may apply.

Weather-related cancellations, unsafe working conditions, and circumstances beyond the reasonable control of either party will be handled individually.

Special-order products may be subject to separate return or cancellation conditions disclosed at purchase.

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  1. Provide accurate vehicle and service information.

  2. Disclose known mechanical defects, modified suspension components, damaged wheels, aftermarket hardware, or existing tire problems.

  3. Provide access to the vehicle, wheels, locking lug nut keys, and other required components.

  4. Remove valuables and secure personal belongings near the work area.

  5. Inform our technicians of any special manufacturer or aftermarket installation requirements.

  6. Review completed services and notify us promptly of any concerns.

Customers must not operate the vehicle when a technician has identified a condition making it unsafe to drive.

9. Tire Installation, Wheel Mounting, and Balancing

Tires and Lube performs installation services using appropriate professional equipment and generally accepted industry practices.

However, tire installation may be affected by existing conditions, including:

  • Bent, cracked, or previously repaired wheels

  • Corrosion or deterioration of wheel mounting surfaces

  • Damaged tire beads

  • Worn or damaged lug nuts, bolts, or studs

  • Incorrect wheel specifications or offsets

  • Incompatible tire and wheel combinations

  • Previously damaged TPMS components

  • Excessive tire wear or aging

We may decline to install tires or wheels that do not meet applicable safety requirements.

Wheel balancing reduces vibration caused by mass imbalance but does not correct every cause of vibration, including bent wheels, tire uniformity problems, suspension defects, wheel bearing wear, or alignment issues.

We are not responsible for preexisting mechanical defects or damage caused by incompatible products, improper previous installation, or conditions outside the authorized work, except to the extent caused or worsened by our negligence.

10. Lug Nuts, Wheel Bolts, and Torque Specifications

Wheels will be installed using applicable manufacturer torque specifications where reasonably available and appropriate for the wheel and hardware configuration.

Customers must disclose aftermarket wheels, nonstandard fasteners, wheel spacers, adapters, or other modifications.

Tires and Lube may decline installation when the correct hardware or necessary fitment information is unavailable.

Customers must follow any wheel fastener reinspection or retorque instructions provided after service, including manufacturer recommendations.

Any unusual vibration, wheel noise, or suspected loose fastener after service should be treated as a safety concern. The customer should stop driving when safe and contact us immediately.

11. Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS)

TPMS service may include sensor inspection, installation, activation, programming, and relearning procedures.

TPMS functionality depends on vehicle compatibility, sensor condition, correct programming, and the operational condition of the vehicle's receiver and control systems.

Newly installed TPMS sensors may require additional vehicle driving cycles or manufacturer-specific relearn procedures.

Tires and Lube is not responsible for an unrelated preexisting malfunction of the TPMS system.

Any additional diagnostic work or parts will require separate customer authorization.

12. Customer-Supplied Tires, Wheels, and Parts

Customers may request installation of tires, wheels, or parts purchased from another supplier.

We reserve the right to inspect and reject customer-supplied products that are damaged, unsuitable, incompatible, excessively worn, or otherwise unsafe.

Tires and Lube does not provide a product warranty for parts purchased from third parties.

Our responsibility for customer-supplied products is limited to the workmanship we perform, subject to applicable law.

We are not responsible for manufacturing defects, incorrect specifications, undisclosed product damage, or failures unrelated to our work.

13. Used Tires and Preexisting Damage

Used tires naturally experience wear, aging, rubber deterioration, and exposure to environmental conditions.

A tire may contain internal damage that is not visible during an ordinary external inspection.

We do not guarantee the remaining service life of customer-supplied used tires or previously installed tires.

Customers acknowledge that tire condition can change due to road hazards, inflation practices, vehicle alignment, driving habits, storage, and age.

We may refuse to mount or repair any tire that we reasonably determine to be unsafe.

14. Flat Tire Repairs

Flat tire repairs are performed only when the tire's condition and damage location permit a safe repair consistent with applicable industry standards.

Not all punctures can be repaired.

Tires with sidewall damage, significant structural damage, excessive wear, or other unsafe conditions may require replacement.

The customer is responsible for approving replacement tires or additional work.

A completed repair does not guarantee against future punctures, unrelated tire failures, or new road damage.

15. Oil Changes and Fluid Services

Oil changes are performed using products appropriate for the vehicle based on the information available to us and the services authorized.

The customer is responsible for disclosing:

  • Engine modifications

  • Known oil leaks

  • Existing engine warning lights

  • Previous oil consumption problems

  • Damaged oil pans or drain plugs

  • Nonstandard filters or other modifications

  • Manufacturer requirements that differ from the original vehicle configuration

We may refuse work where existing damage prevents safe or proper service.

Our oil change service does not include a complete engine inspection or guarantee against unrelated mechanical failures.

Customers must promptly notify us of warning lights, oil leaks, abnormal engine noises, or other problems observed after service.

If a low-oil-pressure warning appears, the driver should safely stop the engine and arrange an inspection rather than continue driving.

16. Vehicle Condition and Preexisting Damage

Before beginning service, our technicians may inspect and document the general condition of tires, wheels, and components directly relevant to the requested work.

Photographs may be taken to document existing damage, service conditions, safety concerns, and completed work.

Examples of preexisting conditions include damaged tire beads, wheel corrosion, cracked wheels, stripped fasteners, damaged TPMS sensors, or deteriorated vehicle components.

Tires and Lube is responsible for damage caused by its failure to exercise reasonable care in performing authorized services, subject to applicable law.

We are not responsible for unrelated preexisting conditions or ordinary wear and deterioration.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Warranties and Workmanship

New tires and automotive products may carry a separate manufacturer's warranty.

Warranty eligibility, coverage, exclusions, and claim procedures are determined by the applicable manufacturer.

Tires and Lube stands behind its own installation workmanship.

Customers should report suspected workmanship problems promptly, provide relevant documentation, and allow us a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle and investigate the concern.

If our workmanship is found to be defective, we will provide an appropriate remedy as required by applicable law and any written workmanship warranty supplied with the service.

Warranties do not ordinarily cover:

  • New road hazard damage

  • Improper inflation or vehicle maintenance

  • Accidents or misuse

  • Normal tire wear

  • Mechanical defects unrelated to our service

  • Unauthorized modifications

  • Damage caused by unrelated third-party repairs

Any specific warranty duration or additional warranty benefits must be stated on the customer's invoice or separate written warranty.

18. Tire Storage

Where tire storage is offered, storage terms, pricing, pickup requirements, duration, and any additional protections will be disclosed separately.

Customers must identify the stored tire or wheel sets and provide accurate ownership information.

Tires and Lube will use reasonable care in handling stored property.

Abandoned property, unpaid storage fees, and unclaimed items will be handled according to applicable Montana law and any written storage agreement.

19. Fleet and Commercial Services

Commercial fleet customers may be subject to separate written agreements covering service rates, vehicle access, scheduling, invoicing, payment terms, and maintenance requirements.

Where a signed fleet agreement conflicts with these general Terms, the fleet agreement controls to the extent of the conflict.

Fleet operators remain responsible for vehicle registration, insurance, required inspections, and lawful operation of their vehicles.

20. Safety and Service Limitations

Customer and employee safety is a priority.

We reserve the right to stop or refuse service when equipment, vehicle condition, weather, road conditions, customer conduct, or the work environment presents an unreasonable safety risk.

Our technicians may recommend additional repairs when unsafe conditions are discovered.

A technician's recommendation does not substitute for a comprehensive vehicle inspection unless specifically included in the authorized service.
